Technical preview limitations

[preview] This functionality is in technical preview and may be changed or removed in a future release. Elastic will work to fix any issues, but features in technical preview are not subject to the support SLA of official GA features.

The following are currently not available:

Custom plugins and custom bundles
Reindexing from remote clusters
Cross-cluster search and cross-cluster replication
Snapshot and restore
Clone index API
Migrations from non-serverless Elasticsearch deployments. In the interim, you can use Logstash to move data to and from serverless projects.
Custom roles
Audit logging
Elasticsearch for Apache Hadoop

Currently, workloads outside of the following ranges may experience higher latencies (greater than sub-second):

Search queries on indices greater than 150GB
Index queries per second (QPS) greater than 1000
Search queries per second (QPS) greater than 1800
