DEFINITIONS

Elasticsearch Service Annual Subscriptions

Resources: For the Elasticsearch Service Subscription set forth in this Order Form, Resources includes memory, storage, data transfers, storage snapshots and/or such other components for which fees or credits are metered, accrued or consumed with use. Following the full drawdown of the Monthly Allotment and for the rest of a given month, the Ship-To entity may use additional Resources (“Additional Resources”) on demand. The Ship-To entity may also use Resources after the last Annual Period (“Post-Subscription Resources”) on a month-to-month basis. All fees for Additional Resources and Post-Subscription Resources will be at the on-demand rate as set forth at https://cloud.elastic.co/deployment-pricing-table at the time of use and will not qualify for a discount. In addition to the annual invoices above, Elastic will also issue additional invoices for Additional Resources and Post-Subscription Resources monthly in arrears to the Bill-To entity, and the Bill-To entity agrees to pay such invoices in accordance with the applicable payment terms.

Elasticsearch Service Annual Subscriptions for Elastic Federal + State, Local and Education Sectors

Resources: For the Elasticsearch Service Subscription set forth in this Order Form, Resources includes memory, storage, data transfers, storage snapshots and/or such other components for which fees or credits are metered, accrued or consumed with use. In each month of the Annual Subscription, the Ship-To entity may only use Resources equal to or less than the Monthly Allotment. Additional Resources may only be added to an existing Annual Subscription through the execution by the Bill-To entity of one or more additional Order Forms with Elastic setting forth the details of such addition.

Elasticsearch Service Consumption Subscriptions

Resources: For the Elasticsearch Service Subscription set forth in this Order Form, Resources includes memory, storage, data transfers, storage snapshots and/or such other components for which fees or credits are metered, accrued or consumed with use. Resources within Elasticsearch Service are consumed in, and Credit Allotments are specified quantities of, units of exchange called Elastic Consumption Units (or ECUs). For a given Consumption Period, the Ship-To entity may only access the Cloud Service and receive Support Services if it (i) has a positive Credit Allotment or (ii) decides to use additional Resources (“Additional Resources”) on a month-to-month basis subsequent to the full consumption of Credit Allotment. Applicable discounts set forth on this Order Form will also apply to any Additional Resources used by the Ship-To entity in any Consumption Period other than the last. Additional Resources used in the last Consumption Period will not qualify for a discount. The Ship-To entity may also use Resources after the last Consumption Period (“Post-Subscription Resources”) on a month-to-month basis, at the on-demand rate as set forth at https://cloud.elastic.co/deployment-pricing-table at the time of use. In addition to the annual invoices above, Elastic will also issue additional invoices for Additional Resources and Post-Subscription Resources monthly in arrears to the Bill-To entity, and the Bill-To entity agrees to pay such invoices in accordance with the applicable payment terms.

Elasticsearch Service Consumption Subscriptions for Elastic Federal + State, Local and Education Sectors

Resources: For the Elasticsearch Service Subscription set forth in this Order Form, Resources includes memory, storage, data transfers, storage snapshots and/or such other components for which fees or credits are metered, accrued or consumed with use. Resources within Elasticsearch Service are consumed in, and Credit Allotments are specified quantities of, units of exchange called Elastic Consumption Units (or ECUs). For a given Consumption Period, the Ship-To entity may only access the Cloud Service and receive Support Services if it has a positive Credit Allotment. Accrued fees for Resources in each Consumption Period may not exceed the applicable Credit Allotment. Additional Credit Allotments may only be added to an existing Consumption Subscription through the execution by the Bill-To entity of one or more additional Order Forms with Elastic, setting forth the details of such addition.

Site Search Subscriptions

Resources: For the Site Search Subscription set forth in this Order Form, Resources includes means engines, documents and API Operations, where an “API Operation” is any API request made on behalf of an account, including but not limited to document creation, search queries, engine creation, document updates and click through tracking, and/or such other components for which fees or credits are metered, accrued or consumed with use. Following the full drawdown of the Monthly Allotment and for the rest of a given month, the Ship-To entity may use additional Resources (“Additional Resources”) on demand. All fees for Additional Resources will be metered at the on-demand rate at the time of use and will not qualify for a discount. In addition to the annual invoices above, Elastic will also issue additional invoices for Additional Resources monthly in arrears to the Bill-To entity, and the Bill-To entity agrees to pay such invoices in accordance with the applicable payment terms.

Expiration of Subscriptions: Section 1.4.3.1 (Expiration of Annual and Consumption Subscriptions) of the Elastic Cloud Service Subscription Addendum to the Agreement will not apply to this Order Form.
