Elastic Cloud Hosted deprecations
Over time, certain Elastic functionality becomes outdated and is replaced or removed. To help with the transition, Elastic deprecates functionality for a period before removal, giving you time to update your applications.
Review the deprecated functionality for Elastic Cloud Hosted. While deprecations have no immediate impact, we strongly encourage you update your implementation after an upgrade.
In addition, before upgrading your hosted deployments, review deprecation notices for any Elastic Stack applications that you're using.
You can find and review past announcements on this page.

It was used to get constraints for node types when creating an instance configuration, however, these capacity constraints are no longer found in the response of the API.
