Elastic and Megazone Partner to Bring Elastic Cloud on AWS to the Korean Market
Elastic, the company behind the open source Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Beats, and Logstash), X-Pack, and Elastic Cloud, (Chief Revenue Officer, Aaron Katz) and a Korean cloud-specialized IT company, 'Megazone Corporation' (CSO, Max Lee), announced a strategic partnership running on Elastic Cloud with the Korean market as its starting point.
With this partnership agreement signed, Megazone will be the sole partner for deploying Elastic's new product, Elastic Cloud Enterprise, which enables centralized monitoring, management, and provisioning capabilities across thousands of Elastic Stack clusters.
Benefits to Korean customers include the ability to use Elastic Cloud Enterprise on AWS with Megazone's implementation, operations, and management services of their Elastic Stack environments. Elastic and Megazone will also collaborate closely in the areas including sales & marketing technical support and training.
The partnership signed between Megazone and Elastic signifies a special partnership model between Korea's leading cloud company/AWS consulting partner and creator of the world's most popular open source enterprise products for search, logging, and analytics. With more than 100 cumulative million downloads of Elastic's products, and a growing user community in Korea, , this new partnership will further trigger adoption of Elastic's software in the Korean market.

In the meantime, Megazone and Elastic will conduct a co-marketing event at AWS Summit Seoul 2017 on April 19 and 20 at Coex Center located in Seoul, South Korea. At this event, visitors will also have an opportunity to consult with technical experts and solution architects when they visit Megazone and Elastic's exhibition booth. Also, as part of a promotion of the recently-signed partnership agreement, the two companies will provide complimentary consulting services and PoC for customers for 2 months, from May 1st to July 1st, 2017.
