Course summary

The Elasticsearch Engineer course and exam will be updated to version 8.15 on January 24, 2025.  If you are planning to become certified with the Elastic Certified Engineer Exam on version 8.1, you must schedule and take the exam prior to this date.

To become an Elastic Certified Engineer, you will need to pass our hands-on, performance-based exam. The exam requires completing a series of timed, real-world tasks on Elasticsearch clusters in a proctored environment. We encourage you to review our Certification FAQ which contains our "How to prepare" webinar before attempting the exam.

People who have passed the Exam will receive a unique Elastic Certified Engineer URL badge to post on their social media or show their management.

Topics

Elastic Certified Engineer exam is currently on version 8.1. The Elasticsearch Engineer course and exam will be updated to version 8.15 on January 24, 2025.
